The Del Popolo mobile pizzeria is designed to bring Neapolitan-inspired pizza to the people, rather than drawing them to a fixed location.
It features a 5,000-lb Stefano Ferrara wood-fired brick oven inside a deconstructed, modified transatlantic shipping container mounted to a Freightliner M2 truck. The end result is a glass-enclosed exhibition kitchen much as one might find in a restaurant.
The name Del Popolo means ‘of the people’ and stems from a belief in the simple and egalitarian nature of pizza. The pizza is prepared using an on-board dough mixer and a combination of organic ingredients sourced from small, generational domestic and Italian producers. Owner and operator Jonathan Darsky’s thin and perfectly blistered crusts at San Francisco’s flour + waterhave previously been recognized by TheSan Francisco Chronicle, 7×7, San Francisco Magazine, Gourmet, Food & Wine Magazine, The New York Times and Sunset Magazineamong others.

Future business? Antico mobile?
950 HP, 1,700 foot pounds of torque, and 32 miles a gallon. Twin turbo 6.6 Duramax powered Chevelle.
Bed Bunker. The California King model (with the 105 gun capacity) runs $4,200, and weighs 1,500-lbs empty.
I believe I may have solved the issue of no room for a safe and my wife’s desire for a King size bed
This 1970 model Pontiac Firebird by All Speed Customs (ASC), is another ground up build but this one is intended to be a high-performance daily driver.
To some, the ‘70 Firebird is considered one of the best bodied Firebirds ever to hit the road and ASC made it even better. It has an impressive list of features including an in-house built 454cu Pontiac twin turbo EFI engine, a DSE suspension, Wilwood brake kit, Tremec transmission, a brand new custom leather interior with racing seats & stereo system, and tons more.
Some seriously well thought out body modifications give the car an updated look while still keeping it’s classic muscle shape. It’s an amazingly thorough build which keeps the soul of this bird alive, but gives it a bit more fire. It has plenty of experience on the street & track and all 1200hp is intended to be used daily.
You can see more build photos here.
I swear to you, there is an awakening happening. An awakening for the things of old, for going back to the harder ways of things. Our generation feels a gap, and our generation will fill it.
